Hi, I'm Robin.
I think I have a camera in my hands since I could walk. I get it honestly. My parents loved photography. My Dad even had his own darkroom. After over 20 years in credit management, with the encouragement of my husband George, I decided to pursue my passion for photography full time and Off the Grid Photography was born. It is a passion that we share and love to travel, seek out new adventures and tell the story of differnt places thru photography. I consider myself a professional storyteller now. My work has been published in 32 issues of 8 different photography magazines and I have been a featured photographer 3 times. I shoot wildlife and nature photography that are available on wrapped canvas, as prints, on cutting boards, notebooks and more. We offer portrait photography as well. Self- taught photographer / country boy grew up exploring the wildlife and waterways of Lake Pontchartrain tributaries on weekends and summers.
Four years ago, picked up a camera and with reinforcement from my wife and I started utilizing photography to connect people with the nature I grown to love and value.
My journey has been slow. Dense cypress swamps and utilizing natural light can be challenging. Mistakes are still forever evolving, but if you want to be a champion you must learn how to lose before you learn how to win.
